Hi, Rudy,

I emailed you last year about the possibility of renting kiln space to fire tiles----after I bought my mother's house and moved up here. I am currently visiting the house in Sequim to make sure I wanted to live here. The answer is completely, YES.

I have been doing yard clean up for a couple of weeks, and will be taking lots of her trash to the dump today.

I would enjoy meeting you, if not on this trip, perhaps when I come back mid-August, if you have the time. I brought some tile with me. I am glad to read you are a glaze man. I might need a coach in that area.

See you soon, I hope.

Dear Cousin Rudy,

Your work is so beautiful and your dedication is inspiring. I know you have been doing this for a long time and I enjoy reading about your work and looking at your work on your website.

I like you love dogs and a friendly greeter into your pottery shop is always welcomed buy all that enter.

I am looking forward to receiving the piece you are making for our beloved 3rd grade nun Sister Barbra. Rudy , his brother George (BUDDY) and I all went to a catholic shool together and lived right aroound the corner from each other. It was really nice to grow up with lots of cousins in the same town.

You and Andi are both dedicated to the work and to your family. The area you both live imust be so inspiring to your thought process in deciding what to make and the colors and materials you use. I am proud to be your cousin.

                                              Love Leila Jean

Hello Rudy,
You don't know me but I'm very good friends with Cyndi Ulin who has given me your name and told me of your website. I've also been the recepient of a very nice piece of your pottery as a birthday gift from Cyndi.

I've looked over your website and I'm very impressed with your passion and love for pottery not to mention your beautiful dog, Sable! =) I also love and pamper my animals just as it appears you do, as well!

I have a Gallery/Garden and Gift shop that just opened mid September of last year in the foothills of Mt. Baker on SR 542 just about 40 miles from the top of Mt. Baker. I currently have over 40 artisian's (mostly from Whatcom County) with the exception of just a couple from Skagit County. I'm doing a consignment arrangement with my artists as a way to get established. My Gallery/Garden shop is open Friday-Sunday 9am-6pm year around. Cyndi gave me a hanging wind chimme made of pottery with sea shells. It was 3-tiered and very nice. She mentioned I should contact you and inquire if you might be interested in having some of your products here in my shop.

If you have any interest, please take a look a our website...mountainsidegardens.com and let me know your thoughts and if we might do business? You can e-mail me or I can also be reached at 360-599-2271( home #) 360-599-2890 (Gallery/Gift shop/weekends) if you want to discuss this over the phone. Best time to reach me is evenings after 7pm (week days), weekends or Mondays.

Thanks Rudy for your time here and hopefully we can be in touch soon. I will look forward to hearing back from you.

Best Regards,
Nancy Jacobsen

Allow me to be the first comment submitted to my site. Keeping new work coming out and putting my new ideas into play are a huge challenge. I have several new techniques to employ and will do so in cycles of ten lamps. Slip trailing and carving will be my focus over the next few weeks.
